Tesla joins early testing at Dubai's new Mobility Labs autonomous track

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), together with the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, officially opened Mobility Labs at Dubai Silicon Oasis on September 27 -- the region's most advanced ground-testing facility for autonomous and future mobility technology. The site runs 248 test scenarios, including 195 in a multi-purpose zone replicating real traffic (143 core scenarios plus 52 added enhancements), combining controlled tracks with public-road trials.
Tesla has taken part in trials there alongside WeRide and Pony.ai, according to regional coverage. It follows Tesla's FSD trials that began in neighboring Abu Dhabi back in February, marking a further step in Tesla's push into Middle East autonomous driving.
